1 Unit Studies-Grades K-5 on Thu 12 Mar - 16:56

What are your favorite Unit Study Websites for the Elementary Grades?
So far, I've used the below for free lapbooks and unit studies:

http://www.homeschoolshare.com/levels.php
http://www.homeschoolhelperonline.com/

Are there others that are creative and give good talking points (not just -discuss the weather for- "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs); I could have thought of that!

Michelle-

I like Cindy Downes unit studies at

Oklahoma Homeschool

Some are long- but they have great resources and point you to good websites for activites.

I have condensed things, and expanded them too.

Of course there is always Five in a Row - available at your local Berkley libary.

I just saw a great bunch of early american history units on the Old Sturbridge Village site.
Lesson Plans

http://www.osv.org/school/lesson_plans/index.php

They look like they would be great ideas- recipies, activities, and lesson plans.

I will be doing a quick colonial workshop at my house with my kids- we plan on candlemaking and natural wool dying, and some other things. Maybe there are others who would join in and make it a group.
